Everyone has Psychic Abilities. But as with all things, it is in varying levels from person to person. You never know which sense will become the more dominant.

Everyone is born with 6 senses, but it is only the ‘normal’ 5 that we being working with. These are our sense of Taste, Sight, Hearing, Touch and Smell. Very little work is done on our 6th sense - that of our Mind.

Who among us can say with a definite answer that our 5 main senses are working to the best of their ability. I feel that most among us would be totally honest and know that they are not.

Whilst many Psychics use their sense of sight a lot, it is usually in two different ways. Some will see pictures in their minds eye whilst others see pictures in the physical, such as orbs and spirits.

If a person is able to hear sound and recognizable messages beyond our normal range of hearing it is called Clairaudience.

Many years ago, when my son was little, I had a very clear message via Clairaudience. Whilst I was preparing our lunch, my son was happily playing in the garden. Suddenly a strong, loud voice shouted in my mind. “James is out of the garden - get him quickly”. I did not think twice. I ran from the kitchen and found that my son had ‘escaped’ and was running toward the main road. If I had not heard that voice in my head something terrible may, and probably would, have happened.

Smell: Many people have had psychic experiences using the sense of smell. Spirit seem to find it a good way to contact us. For example my brother passed into spirit 9 years ago. But I know he is still with me because I smell him. He used one particular aftershave - which no one else in the household uses. I can be washing up, in the garden, in fact be doing anything and all of a sudden I will get a very strong smell of my brothers aftershave. You cannot even purchase this particular scent anymore!

To accept and acknowledge these experiences is the best feeling - you know that they are still with you and trying to let you know that they are alright.

Many people experience the sense of touch, spiritually, when they are meditating - by spirit gently touching them in a reassuring manner. Or sometimes when spirit comes close you may feel the temperature in the air change, or feel their breath upon you. These are both examples of the sense of touch.

Of course, not all experiences are so gentle. When a friend of mine was a small lad, possibly 9 years of age, he was waiting to cross the road. As he stepped into the road a car suddenly appeared. Friends watching from the other side of the road reported the lad being picked up and literally flying through the air. He landed approximately 10 meters from where he started. He was not hit by the car and was totally unharmed.

Another healing experience, via the sense of touch, is when a child falls and hurts themselves, whether a skinned knee or a bump on the head. Many parents place their hands over the affected area. I, myself, have done this many times (with 3 children it is an everyday occurrence). My children have often stated that they feel a warm tingly sensation when my hand is there. They have also told me that the pain and stinging disappears - magic hands they call it. Although I am not a healer, I feel that many of these things are automatic and that everyone possesses them.

Psychic experiences of Taste are not as common as the other senses but it is still present none the less. Psychics have described experiencing extreme tastes whilst carrying out a reading. For example, whilst giving a reading a Psychic may report a very metallic taste in their mouth. Only to find out that the deceased loved one had an illness that actually produced a very metallic taste in their mouth that they detested.

Psychic sense: For your Mind to start developing you really need to work on your other five.

Make them more aware of the more gentle everyday situations. You can work these 5 senses so that no sensation from either Taste, Smell, Touch, Hearing or Seeing, will escape your attention.

Your Mind uses all of your other 5 senses. Everything needs to be sensitized so they can all work in harmony together.
