Get Rid of Your Acne with These 3 Amazing Tips
Skincare November 18th, 2008Does all acne treatments work? It’s not unusual to hear people with acne problems complain that the acne treatment they are using doesn’t work.
Even if a treatment seems to be working for your friend, it doesn’t mean that it is the best treatment for you.
1. Only use medication that is advised for your skin type.
Your skin type will have a lot to do with what type of acne products you are going to use. Perhaps you have an oily skin or maybe you have a sensitive skin and therefore you cannot just start using the first product you see advertised on television.
There are several acne medications currently on the market and some products are loaded with chemicals and is supposed to work if you have a severe case of acne. Obviously, if you only experience mild acne outbreaks and you start using these products, the harsh chemicals will cause a lot of skin irritations and that is exactly what you don’t want
Make it a habit to always read the caution labels before you start using this kind of product.
2. Feed your skin with wonder vitamins
Start eating foods that are rich in vitamin C and drink natural fruit juices that are high in vitamin C. You have to take in a sufficient amount of these vitamins, since vitamin C is one of those vitamins that we do not store in the body.
For example, if you drink a glass of juice in the afternoon, that source of vitamins will be gone from your system by the evening. So try to take in some type of source of vitamin C three times a day. This will help your skin to repair itself, and will maintain collagen.
3. Aloe Vera
When treating acne Aloe Vera is very effective. It is a natural medicine, but it has a lot of medicinal qualities. It is truly a miracle for many skin irritations. It can even remove acne scars. If you want to reduce the risk of inflammation of your acne, try using Aloe Vera in the form of soap.
